Lake Ontario Level Modeling and UAV Demonstration

Please join us for our June Program at Sunnyside Lodge in Black Creek Park. Justin Cole, will discuss “Lake Ontario Level Modeling.”  A picnic lunch will be served following the presentation. Greg Hale, P.E. from HaleTIP will present a 30 minute UAV demonstration at 1 pm right after lunch (weather dependent).

15 years of studying Lake Ontario has shown what a dynamic system it is. Join me for a presentation on methods and results from my research modeling the lake levels and it’s impact on the shoreline.

  • Flight preparation and planning.

  • Some additional flight techniques.
  • Some hands-on flight controls.
  • Recommended apps to process the data.
