As has become a GIS/SIG summer tradition, we again returned to the Braddock Bay Park Pavilion in the Town of Greece for the June Program. We were pleased to have Jonathan Cobb, a founder of Waypoint Technology Group, present on GPS, including:
- How to set up GPS data collection to obtain useful GIS data
- Avoiding common mistakes
- Post-processing and real-time correction
- New technical development: cellular network links. This technology allows the use of web map services and real-time correction in the field.
